Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Honing House offers online writing courses and coaching for writers at all stages of their development.
Online workshops and on-demand courses
Our online workshops are held in warm and engaging small groups. Classes run throughout the year, offering students several opportunities to make new discoveries in their writing— such as finding playful ways to learn or relearn the basics of craft, or finding imaginative approaches to more advanced techniques. Classes meet online via Zoom. And of course our on-demand courses can be accessed at any time!
One-on-one coaching
Honing House offers coaching for writers who prefer personal attention to their work and need a kind and energetic writing companion to cheer them on when the work needs that little extra push. During one-hour sessions expect regular, in-depth feedback on your work, advice on how to tackle revisions without pulling your hair out, and prompts that will guide your writing into new, undiscovered territory.
