Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Honing House offers in-person and online writing courses as well as 1:1 coaching for writers at all stages in their development.
In-person and online workshops
Our in-person and online workshops are held in warm and engaging small groups. Classes run throughout the year, offering students several opportunities to make new discoveries in their writing—such as finding playful ways to learn or relearn the basics of craft, or finding imaginative approaches to more advanced techniques. Classes meet in Amsterdam West or online via Zoom.
One-on-one coaching
Honing House offers coaching for writers who prefer personal attention for their work, or need a kind and energetic writing companion to cheer them on when their writing needs that little extra push. During one-hour sessions you’ll receive in-depth feedback on your work, advice on how to tackle revisions without pulling your hair out, and prompts that will guide your writing into new, undiscovered territory.
