We will also cover tips and tricks for tracking your submissions, how to create submission “hierarchies”, and examine common concerns around submitting, such as whether or not simultaneous submissions are OK.
Participants will leave this bootcamp with resources for finding submission opportunities, templates for cover letters and bios, and more.
Instructor bio
Daniel Cecil is an American writer and teacher based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. His fiction and non-fiction work have appeared in several publications including Bull, Door=Jar, Barrelhouse, The Rumpus, The LA Review of Books, Miracle Monocle, and The Stranger (among others). He is a Pushcart nominated writer and have been long listed for the Dzanc Fiction Prize, short-listed for the Yes Yes Books open reading period, and received the support of several residencies. He also teaches travel writing and English literature at Emerson College as part of their study abroad program in the Netherlands.
